So.

Why merchandise?

A book chronicling my personal struggles; some directly related to alcohol/drug abuse, some just due to a messed up way of thinking.

Excuse me. An award winning book chronicling my personal struggles.

Speaking venues.

Podcasts appearances.

Fairs, events, pop-ups…”oh you got room for a table…?”

On my website, on those billionaires’ websites, at local stores in and around Charlotte.  Out of my damn backpack.

So why, now…why merch?

There’s more work to do.  There’s more ground to cover.

You know that big-name, recovery-driven, positive thinking, living-life-loudly company?

Yeah. Me neither.

There are those random site suggestions on social media hocking flashy shirts and such.  Some of them look pretty cool.  Heck, I’ve bought some gear from a few of them.

But they ain’t UnLoaded.

Their CEO/COO (ha, that’s me…right up there with Gates, LeVesque, and Hill) didn’t write a damn book.

THE damn book.

They haven’t amassed over 7,300 days of continue sobriety and helped countless others work towards that goal.

They didn’t escape the fiery wreckage of their created hell and return with buckets of water for those still suffering.

You know what? Perhaps they did.

But they’re not Jamie F’n Weatherly.  And that’s who the hell I am.

Why merch?

Because there is a stigma connected to not just addiction, but to recovery.  We are not meant to be confined to a dimly lit room with the curtains drawn.  “Please park behind the church so as not to draw attention.”  We should not be regulated to a first-name-only basis.  We should not hide our lives, our struggles and our redemption from the PTA, the synagogue, and your son’s basketball team.

Being proud of your recovery might encourage someone else to trudge that road.

Being proud of you recovery tells the world we are not afraid.

Being proud of your recovery shows we are not sheltered and we CAN live intently.

Being proud of your recovery can save someone’s life.

The stigma ends now.

We celebrate the debauchery.

Now exalt in the sobriety.  The joys, the pains, the fears, the triumphs, the failures, the adventures, the ills, the births and the deaths.

Show the world who we are and what we are capable of.

Is the book “UnLoaded” strictly for those with experience with alcoholism and drug addiction? Surprisingly no. And it was people that did not have such experiences that told me this.

So is the merch just as universal?
Damn right.

I want to touch the world.

And I need your help.  All of you.

Much like a book, the revenue generated from sales of shirts, hats, hoodies, novelty items and, yes, I always must mention the fanny pack, aren’t going to give me the downpayment for a new car.

But they will pay for me to hit the road. More cities.  More tours.  More book fairs.  The “other things” UnLoaded so desperately needs; an audio version, perhaps a follow-up book, even more and more items added to the brand.

So please.

Please consider.  It is a Shopify Store.  The website itself is https://fwckgy-1i.myshopify.com/ …it links to my website and my website also links to the store.  Easily enough, that is JamieWeatherly.com

I’m not done.  I am not anonymous and I have been blessed with a mind and voice to reach out to others.

Support me.  Support my brand.  And let’s change the world.
